Halsey Minor's Fox Ridge Farm property -- located in the heart of Virginia's famed hunt country -- was auctioned off on the front steps of the historic Albemarle County Circuit Courthouse, on January 4, 2010.
The 204.6-acre estate was sold by court order to settle a bank debt.
Last week, the wonderful artworks within the house were sold, as well. The contemporary works from the debt-ridden collector and Internet entrepreneur were sold for record sums at boutique auction house Phillips de Pury & Company on May 14. The sale totaled $37.9 million. Read more in AK Files.
