Brazil will be well represented at Art Basel Miami Beach, 2010. From December 2nd -5th, at the Miami Convention Center these galleries will exhibit Brazil's most prestigious contemporary artists.
ARTKABINETT social network of fine art collectors looks forward to visiting all of them during the Art Basel fair.
For the first time, A Gentil Carioca will present works by Thiago Rocha Pitta, Laura Lima and Jarbas Lopes in the Art Nova section.
Galeria Nara Roesler will again take part in this section, showing Laura Vinciís recent installation, Lux, which is simultaneously being exhibited in Lisbon through December 18th.
Galeria Marilia Razuk brings to Art Nova, new work by three important artists: Cabelo, Felipe Cohen and Gustavo Resende. Finally, Galeria Leme will present works by Gabriel Acevedo, Sandra Gamarra and David Batchelor.
Exhibiting in the Art Galleries section of the fair: Galeria Vermelho, Galeria Millan, Galeria Luisa Strina, Galeria Luciana Brito, Casa Triangulo, Galeria Fortes VilaÁa and Gabinete de Arte Raquel Arnaud highlight many of the artists who are prominent in the 29th S„o Paulo Biennial.
Work will be exhibited by these important Brazilian contemporary artists: Daniel Senise and Rosangela RennÛ (Vermelho), Anna Maria Maiolino, Tunga and Miguel Rio Branco (Millan), Cildo Meireles, Caetano Dias, Leonilson and Marepe (Strina), Geraldo de Barros, Regina Silveira and Rochelle Costi (Luciana Brito), Albano Afonso and Sandra Cinto (Tri‚ngulo), Carmela Gross, Waltércio Caldas (Raquel Arnaud), Ernesto Neto (artwork, left), Luiz Zerbini and Nuno Ramos (Fortes VilaÁa).
Taking part in the Art Kabinett section, Gabinete de Arte Raquel Arnaud honors the great Brazilian sculptor Sergio Camargo by presenting many important working in Miami for the first time.
